Myanmar recorded 16 more confirmed cases of COVID-19 on Sunday, bringing its total tally to 141,601, according to a release from the Ministry of Health, Xinhua reported.

One more COVID-19 death was reported on Sunday, bringing the COVID-19 death toll to 3,189, the release said.

According to the ministry's figures, a total of 130,331 patients have been recovered from the coronavirus epidemic and discharged from hospitals.
