China's Huawei telecommunications company and Myanmar's Rectors' committee have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for ICT talent development under the management of the Education Ministry, Xinhua reported.

The agreement covers cooperation on establishing ICT diploma course system, sponsoring "Seeds for the Future" program, establishing the Huawei Authorized Information and Network Academy, providing ICT Talent Scholarship to outstanding university students, organizing the Youth Open Day at Huawei Customer Solution Innovation and Integration Centre as well as assisting in ICT related scientific research in Myanmar.

The MoU is an elevated version of the previous one which was signed in 2014 and over 1,500 ICT talents have been trained under the program in the past four years.
