Yoma Land has just opened the City Loft @ StarCity Sales Gallery to provide apartment buyers an opportunity to view properties.

City Loft @ StarCity is being built on a 22-acre master-planned site at StarCity in Yangon’s Thanlyin Township. The project is said to target the underserved middle-income market in Yangon and combines a competitive price point with mortgage repayment terms of up to 25-years, making homeownership accessible to many who would traditionally be priced out of property ownership.

The sales gallery located at Yangon Sales Gallery, Kyaik Khauk Pagoda Road, Thanlyin Township, Yangon, is now open to members of the public every day between 9 am and 5 pm.

“The opening of this beautiful new sales gallery allows us to showcase the true essence of City Loft to the public. With an inclusive community at its heart, City Loft makes modern living and financial independence a reality to many who have traditionally been priced out of the real estate market. Developed in line with Yoma Land’s mission – to Build Better Communities for the Future of Myanmar, City Loft at StarCity will also feature ample space set aside for commercial, communal and recreational activities,” said Serge Pun aka U Theim Wai, Executive Chairman of Yoma Strategic Holdings Ltd. and First Myanmar Investment Public Company.

The sales gallery’s launch follows the opening of public sales, ground blessing and commencement of project construction in January. On the back of increased public demand, City Loft @ StarCity has also launched a bigger three-bedroom unit. Since public sales began, City Loft @ StarCity has sold 90 per cent of the 357 apartments made available during the project’s first phase, with phase two’s 441 apartments available for purchase from 1 April 2019.

City Loft @ StarCity offers open plan studios, a first in Myanmar, as well as one-bedroom, two-bedroom and three-bedroom apartments. Residents will enjoy various commercial, recreational and social amenities, with plans in place to construct a swimming pool, gymnasium, garden area, retail plaza, YBS bus terminal and jetty for water ferry services.

Studios and apartments in City Loft @ StarCity’s first phase will range in price between MMK 42 million and MMK 160 million depending on size and specification. The City Loft offering further combines favourable mortgage repayment terms with domestic banks. Interest rates are set in line with the Central Bank of Myanmar and buyers are able to make a 30% deposit with the remaining 70% payable over 25 years. Once the deposit is made, buyers can own a City Loft studio apartment for as little as MMK400,000 per month.
