Myanmar's first international car show has opened in Yangon, NHK World reported.

Six automakers from countries including Japan, the US and China are taking part in the Yangon International Motor Show. Japan's Suzuki Motor has a head start in Myanmar with a 60 percent market share.

Toyota, Ford and China's Dongfeng Motor are among rivals rolling out their latest models in a bid to eat into Suzuki's lead, the report said.
