COVID-19 patients of any age, child or adult, and family members of those who died of the pandemic can avail themselves of psychosocial healthcare services free of charge by contacting hotline numbers of Padummar COVID-19 Support Group.

Myanmar is facing over a thousand daily new COVID cases and people infected with COVID-19 virus, family members of them and family members of those who died of this pandemic are suffering mental impact. So this Padummar group is providing their free service to people to boost their morale.

Oncologist from Yangon General Hospital (YGH) and Chairwoman of Padumma Support Group, Dr. Wah Wah Myint Zu, said, “We would like to support those suffering from COVID, their family members and friends by providing our all-round support, care and treatment,”

The group has been providing psychosocial support for about two weeks and have received over 60 calls for counselling most of them are middle aged.
