Performances by artists from Japan and Myanmar drew an enthusiastic audience to a concert held in Yangon, despite corona virus concerns, NHK report.

Sunday's outdoor concert was part of an annual event to promote exchanges between the two countries. Organizers included NHK and Japanese companies doing business in Myanmar.

The organizers said the event to promote Japan and Myanmar friendship drew about 13,000 people, down about 30 percent from last year due to concerns over the new coronavirus.
