A total of 1,394 Myanmar citizens returned home from Thailand through Myanmar-Thai Friendship Bridge (2) of Myawaddy border town in Kayin State yesterday, State media reported.

Among them, the 462 persons entered Myanmar by 22 buses under the arrangement of the two governments, and the remaining 932 people arrived back in their own schedules from different areas of Thailand.

Myanmar migrant workers have been repatriated from Thailand since 1 May, and a total of 5,177 persons have arrived back home until now.
