Myanmar delegation meets with Manipur chief minister

A Myanmar delegation comprising chief ministers of three regions of the country Tuesday met with Manipur chief minister N Biren Singh and discussed strengthening Indo-Myanmar relationship, the Nagaland Post reported.

The meeting discussed ways to strengthen Act East Policy, increase bilateral trade and commerce, reduction of VISA fee, VISA on arrival facilities, to set up VISA Center at Tamu, Mandalay etc, an official source said.

The three chief ministers attended the meeting were chief minister of Mandalay region Dr Zaw Myint, chief minister of Chin State U Salai Luai and chief minister of Mon State Dr Aye Zan also attending were Central executive member of Rakhine state Dr Myo Nyunt and Member of Parliament U Myint Naing Oo.
