An official with the Labour, Immigration and Population Ministry of Myanmar said that the government of the country has provided jobs to a total of 21,098 citizens in July, MENAFN reported.

19,910 of them are workers in the private sector while the remaining 1,188 are in the government sector.

U Myo Aung, Permanent Secretary of the ministry said, "continuous efforts are being made by the ministry to create employment opportunities for job seekers during the period of COVID-19 outbreak".
