Myanmar authorities have seized 600 kg ICE, also known as methamphetamine, in Kunhing, Myanmar's northeastern Shan state, Myanmar News Agency reported Thursday.

The seizure was made by local anti-drug agencies from a car at Tar Kaw Bridge checkpoint on Tuesday and the drugs are estimated at 15 billion kyats (10 million US dollars).

The anti-drug police also confiscated 23,400 psychotropic tablets from a motorcycle along the Laukkai-Chin Shwe Haw road in Laukkai, Kokang region on the day.

Local police have filed cases against the two people under the country's Anti-Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law.
