Myanmar authorities seized a large haul of narcotic drugs in Mandalay region, according to a release from the Central Committee for Drug Abuse Control (CCDAC), Xinhua reported.

Acting on a tip-off, the anti-narcotics police force made a seizure in Kyaukse township on Tuesday, confiscating 142,500 stimulants worth over 427 million kyats (305,357 U.S. dollars) and one kg of methamphetamine (ICE) worth 20 million kyats (14,285 U.S. dollars).

On the same day, a total of 222,000 stimulants worth 444 million kyats (317,142 U.S. dollars) were seized in Kutkai township of the Shan state.
