Restoration Council of Shan State/Shan State Army - South (RCSS/SSA-S) in eastern Shan State Mongsat District, handed over 30 kilograms of confiscated Ice to local the Police force on 8 May, According to state media.

Police Lt. Col Saw Zeyar Lin delivered words of appreciation to the group and it was reported that the drug was confiscated during a standoff between RCSS/SSA and drug traffickers.

A group of 12 headed by Sai Tun Hla (RCSS/ SSA) confronted the drug trafficker which resulted in a standoff. At the end of it, 30 kilograms of ice was confiscated but they didn’t manage to capture the trafficker.
