Some Rakhine ethnic people in some polling stations in South Dagon Township, Yangon said they were not able to cast their ballots for the Rakhine Ethnic Affairs Minister position because they were not included in the eligible voter lists for Rakhine ethnic people.

There were more than 400 eligible voters in the entire South Dagon Township. Some Rakhine people said that more than 100 were not included in the lists.

Moreover, some Rakhine people in Shwepyitha and Hlaingthaya townships could not cast their ballots this morning for a similar reason, according to Daw Htu May, candidate for Rakhine Ethnic Affairs Minister position.
