A special flight bringing laboratory equipment donated by the World Health Organization-WHO, and medical experts who can give the expertise at the disposal of the government in the fight against COVID-19 landed at the Yangon International Airport yesterday.

The special flight arranged by the World Food Programme carried laboratory equipment which would be handed over to the Ministry of Health and Sports and 10 experts from UN and international organizations.

The WFP’s Global Logistics Service Provision Plan aims at connecting logistics hubs around the world in order to provide an essential link with countries that needs to bring in cargo.
