Three people were killed, and six others injured in a landmine blast in Rakhine state, according to a release from the Military True News Information Team, Xinhua reported

A vehicle with nine people on board was destroyed after hitting a landmine in Maungdaw township on Tuesday afternoon.

Security forces were conducting operations near the scene following the landmine blast, the release said.
