Two active rebels of the banned militant outfit NSCN (K-Yung Aung) based in Myanmar were apprehended by the Assam Rifles and Indian Army near Yoching in Mon District of Nagalan, Eastmojo reported.

An official information from Lt Col L Vincent Patton, PRO, HQ IGAR (N) on Sunday said that as part of the ongoing crackdown by security forces on insurgent groups, two active militants of NSCN (K-YA) were apprehended near Yoching in Mon district of Nagaland.

A joint operation was launched by the Assam Rifles and Indian Army in the area and two active self-styled sergeants identified as Kabato Sema and Lokivi Sema were apprehended.
