Two Myanmar visa application centres have opened in the cities of Mangshi and Ruili in southwest China's Yunnan Province, which borders Myanmar, Xinhua reported.

Authorized by the Consulate General of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar in Kunming, the centres, both in the Dehong Dai and Jingpo Autonomous Prefecture, will provide services including visa applications, information consultations, business meeting arrangements, and tour designs.

U Soe Paing, Consul General of Myanmar based in Kunming, capital city of Yunnan, said the opening of the two centres would deepen friendly exchanges between Dehong and Myanmar and facilitate Chinese tourists.
