Myanmar and the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) will continue to collaborate in Myanmar's immunization program, Xinhua reported.

Under an agreement signed recently between Myanmar's Ministry of Health and Sports and the UNICEF in Nay Pyi Taw on "The Vaccine Independence Initiative-7", UNICEF assured Myanmar of uninterrupted supply of vaccine and technical support for strengthening of cold chain system.

Minister of Health and Sports Dr. Myint Htwe emphasized the importance and great benefit for children in Myanmar especially those living in remote areas by preventing disease by immunization and calling for support of nutrition programs as a top priority.
