The U.S. Embassy, in collaboration with the social organization Full Stop and 12 Myanmar artists, produced the song “Don’t Give up Hope,” which tells the stories of people struggling with drug dependency.

The song promotes the 528 Love social media campaign, which supports healthier communities in Myanmar. The 528 Love campaign provides friends and family of drug users with information about drug dependency to help them find ways to support their communities and prevent HIV/AIDS.

In the much-anticipated song performed by Myanmar artists R ZAR NI, G Latt / NC13 Band, Wai La, Aung La (Reason), Aung Htet, AR-T, X-BOXIN, Wyne Su Khaing Thein, Ni Ni Khin Zaw, Mi Sandi, Kay Kay Moe, and Jewel Ydno, the artists help to tell the stories of a friend affected by drug use and express their support as their friend copes with addiction.
