Wuntharnu Democratic Party candidate from Mandalay Region, Aungmyethazan constituency (1) Aung Kyi Myaing said that he is standing in this election to help people resolve criminal cases, issues and difficulties as called for by people from inside and outside of parliament.

Aung Kyi Myaing has given assistance in over 20 land dispute cases, three child rape cases and other unfairly prosecuted cases in Mandalay Region since 2014 by hiring suitable lawyers for the accused, and by giving financial assistance to those who could not afford to pay legal costs.

Moreover candidate Aung Kyi Myaint has worked for social and charity causes since 2000. He is also currently serving as chairman of the Awayyar Social Assistance Works Association and as joint treasurer of the Mandalay Region Natural Disaster Relief Works Charity Association.

Wuntharnu Democratic Party is a Mandalay-based political party established in 2010. In the forthcoming general elections, the party will not contest in the whole country but in the Mandalay Region only.
