Yangon Region Transport Authority (YRTA) Joint Secretary Hla Aung said that they instructed the city bus operators under their administration not to display logos, flags and election campaign stickers of political parties on their buses.

In Yangon city, over 4,000 city buses used to run daily in the city before the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic but now only about 3,000 buses are running in the city.
