On the occasion of the official launch of EuroCham Myanmar’s first Business Support Guides the European Chamber of Commerce in Myanmar invited all EU member state representatives, EU companies and chambers, as well as its trade promotion partners from UMFCCI and DICA and many more to Melia Hotel, on Wednesday, 16 November 2016 followed by a networking reception.
Filip Lauwerysen, Executive Director EuroCham Myanmar, presented the new Business Guide and five sectoral papers (on agriculture, consumer goods, energy, health and manufacturing) which provide entry-level information to European companies planning to invest in Myanmar.
The official handover to EU member state representatives was followed by a panel discussion on the new investment law with Aung Naing Oo, Director General of DICA, and Philipp Dupuis (Head of the Economic and Trade Section of the EU delegation.
