The Central Bank will issue more licenses to foreign banks after July 2016 for operations in Myanmar.
It will distribute banking license proposal forms to foreign banks in early July next year. 
There are currently 43 representative offices of foreign banks in Myanmar and the Myanmar Central Bank has also issued banking licenses to five foreign banks.
