APB-Alliance Brewing Company, part of the Heineken Company, has launched a brand new local beer called Regal Seven, according to a press release issued on August 28.
The company says it aims to provide the rapidly growing Myanmar beer market with a mainstream lager brewed locally to the highest international standards.
The company says Regal Seven has a 5 percent alcohol content. “Regal stands for being royal and majestic and Seven represents the most famous lucky number in Myanmar, but it is also famous everywhere else as it counts the days in a week, the colors in a rainbow, and the number of continents,” according to the press release.
“We wanted to launch a product that perfectly caters for this market and thanks to our master brewers, who came up with the refreshingly smooth Regal Seven taste, I believe we have succeeded”, said Lester Tan, Managing Director of APB-ABC. “We think that when friendsgather to socialize, enjoy a night out or get together with friends and colleagues, they will select Regal Seven to make the moment even better.”
Regal Seven is available on draught in selected Yangon and Mandalay beer stations, and in bottles and cans in restaurants, bars and supermarkets throughout the country.
