Benchachinda Group expands to Myanmar for broadband services

The Benchachinda Group plans to expand its business to Myanmar in collaboration with three other companies and a local business partner, and has now set up Myanmar Information Highway Limited (MIH) to build up Myanmar's broadband services for efficient communications Thailand’s The Nation reported on 23 July.
Benchachinda's president, Vichai Bencharongkul, said the group's investment in international businesses in Myanmar is the first of a few foreign investments in other nations. According to him, Benchachinda Group has now partnered with four other firms in establishing the MIH. Also a part of this joint venture are United Information Highway (UIH), ALT Telecom, United Distribution Solution, A&F Communication, and a local business partner.
