Cobra ties up deal with Liverpool FC

Liverpool FC have announced the launch of a new regional partnership with Cobra Energy Drink, which sees the brand become the official energy drink of the club in Myanmar, according to the UK-based football club in a press release on March 20.
As part of this partnership, Cobra Energy Drink in Myanmar will create a new TV campaign featuring LFC players and, as well as running competitions for fans to win Liverpool merchandise and engage with the club they'll also be able to purchase LFC-themed bottles of Cobra Energy Drink.
Commenting on the partnership launch, Mr Billy Hogan, chief commercial officer at Liverpool, said: "Liverpool Football Club is one of the most popular football clubs in Myanmar, which is very much a nation of football fanatics.
"We're really excited to partner with Cobra Energy Drink to bring our fans in Myanmar closer to the club."
Mr Lyka C. Frontuna, senior country brand manager of Cobra Energy Drink at Cobra Energy Drinks, commented: "We're delighted to be the official energy drink of Liverpool FC in Myanmar for the 2015-16 Barclays Premier League season.
