Two Myanmar airlines will begin flights between Yangon and Taiwan’s Taoyuan International Airport on Jan. 26.
Myanmar Airways International plans to operate four weekly round trip flights to Taoyuan – on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday, in Airbus A320 aircraft.
Myanmar National Airlines will offer three round trip flights on the same route – on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday – in Boeing 737-800 aircraft.
Only Taiwan-based China Airlines now operates flights between Taoyuan and Yangon, offering six round-trip flights each week on Boeing 737-800s.
Far East International Travel Service Co., a sales agent for Myanmar Airways International in Taiwan, said it will offer tour products with the launch of the new services.
