The first sailing of MCC Transport’s new direct service between China and Myanmar is on the water as the sister company of Maersk Line moves to capitalise on growing trade between the two nations, according to the Journal of Commerce February 4.

Pakistan International Airlines, the nation’s flag carrier airline, has been issued a threat by the Myanmar Aviation Authority to block it from using Myanmar airspace over its non-payment of 52,000 euros, (US$ 60,500/K60.5millon) according to the Business Recorder on January 16.
