* Begin a six-month internship for Burmese women journalists at Mizzima News Delhi Office
* Upgrade the Mizzima IT infrastructure (Computers, Internet connections, electricity back up with generator, etc.) for Mizzima News Delhi office
* Participate at the Asia News Media Meeting held in Kuala Lumpur.
* Strengthen Mizzima reporters’ Journalism skills with advanced journalism courses
* Mizzima News produce and publish total 72 news/features in English and 29 news/features in Burmese.
* Mizzima Monthly Journal (Vol. 4 No. 1) is published and distributed.
* Average 1, 000 readers a day for Mizzima website (www.mizzima.com).
* Daily page views of its website is between 7000-10000 (Ref: Website Hosting www.brinkster.com).
* Continue building news websites for Mizzima News (English and Burmese)

February 2006

* Upgrade IT infrastructure in Mizzima HQ in Delhi (Intercom system, voice logging, upgrading computers, purchases generator, internet connections.)
* Renovate the office to keep its departments specifically.
* Organize a two-day seminar “India’s Role for National Reconciliation in Burma” in New Delhi, jointly with Asian Center for Human Rights
* Mizzima News produce and publish total 93 news/features in English and 22 news/features in Burmese.
* Mizzima Monthly Journal (Vol. 4 No. 2) is published and distributed.

March 2006

* Provide a training on journalism to the members of Khonumthung News
* Organize “Economic Literacy Workshop” in New Delhi, jointly with Altsean Burma
* Make contracts with media organizations such as DVB, National Technical Information Service of United States Department of Commerce for the use of Mizzima’s news
* Mizzima News produce and publish total 72 news/features in English and 17 news/features in Burmese.
* Mizzima Monthly Journal (Vol. 4 No. 3) is published and distributed.
