Both local and foreign marine experts are seeking approval from Myanmar government to open a Marine Geosciences Research Centre in the country, Xinhua has reported quoting Myanmar’s state media.
A report which includes research plan and a study concerning marine geology conducted by the marine experts from nine countries will be submitted to the government within three months following a conference on Wednesday titled "Laying the groundwork for Marine Geosciences in Myanmar."
