Myanmar to promote Chin State lake as ASEAN Heritage Area in 2018

Myanmar authorities are striving to promote Rih Lake, also known as Rih Dil, situated in northwestern part of Chin state as ASEAN Heritage Area in 2018, Xinhua reported quoting state media.
Rih Lake, with a heart-shaped outline, is a natural lake lying three km from the Myanmar-India border and it is situated at 2,966 feet above the sea level.
Meanwhile, hotel construction projects are underway by the joint-management of the Chin state government and the Ministry of Hotels and Tourism, aiming to promote the development of tourism industry in the state, the report said.
