The court in Insein prison on Friday postponed pronouncng  the verdict on Aung San Suu Kyi to August 11 and arrested scores of her supporters and party members. The specimen of the Burmese ornamental architecture was brought from Prome in Burma in 1854 by Lord Dalhousie, the then Governor General of British India, to Calcutta and reconstructed on the site in Eden Gardens in 1856. The original wooden structure was said to have rotted away with the passage of time but has been restored and maintained well by India. Security personnel once again resurface in Burma’s former capital Rangoon on Thursday, April 30, 2009. Photo – Mizzima. Security has been beefed up yet again in Rangoon, following the opposition party National League for Democracy’s “Shwegonedine Declaration”  issued on Wednesday. A miniature model of the expanded international airport in Burma’s jungle capital Naypyitaw, located far away from Burma’s commercial hub. Photo - Mizzima. Asia World Company, owned by one of ruling junta’s business cronies and Singapore-based CPG Consultant Pvt. Ltd have been contracted to carry out the expansion plan. The airport will be expanded in three-phases, and in the first phase it will include building terminals with a capacity of 3.5 million passengers a year.
