Burmese Foreign Minister Nyan Win met with an Iranian goodwill delegation led by led by Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister and deputy director-general of the Foreign Ministry's political department at the Foreign Ministry in Naypyidaw. The two sides agreed to expand their business ties and increase cooperation in regional and international forums such as the United Nations and the Non-Aligned Movement. They also signed a Memorandum of Understanding to establish bilateral consultations between the two foreign ministries. The Iranian delegation also met the chairman and members of the Union of Myanmar Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry in Rangoon. |
