KFC Myanmar will be opening its first store of the year at Dagon Centre 2 on January 31.
It will be the 4th KFC store opened in Myanmar within seven months as it expands its outreach, the company reports.
“2016 will be a very exciting year for us as we continue to expand in both our store count and also menu offerings,” said JR Ching, Chief Financial Officer, Yoma Strategic and Managing Director, KFC Myanmar. “I am also pleased to announce that with just 4 stores we have managed to create jobs for more than 260 people directly. This is something we are proud of and we will continue investing in the development and recruitment of our people as we grow in 2016.”
Daw Khine Zue Zin, Manager of the Dagon Centre store added: "I was part of the initial team that went to Philippines for training and I joined KFC as a supervisor afterwards.
Now I'm very happy to have this opportunity to become the restaurant manager for this KFC Dagon Centre."
Located at one of the busiest points in Yangon, KFC Dagon Centre 2 can seat up to 102 people.
KFC Dagon Centre 2 will be operational from 9am to 9pm, in line with the mall opening times.
