Pun Hlaing Golf Estate (PHGE), a leading gated estate community in Myanmar, celebrated “Family Day” on Saturday, 6 February 2016, according to a statement on 8 February. The event was overwhelmingly successful with a turnout of more than 1,000 people.
“Family Day” started off with a Myanmar breakfast delight. Residents and their friends were then treated to activities such as a dragon dance, bouncy castles, cooking classes, a tour of PHGE and lucky draws. Prizes that were given out during the lucky draw included air-tickets, microwave ovens and other kitchen appliances, as well as full medical check-up vouchers at Pun Hlaing Siloam Hospital.
In the past months, there has been an increase in the number of new families moving into Lotus Garden, recently developed double story villas. “Family Day” is an opportunity for new and existing families to get to know each other.
Sandy McCallister, General Manager of PHGE said, “We are delighted at the huge turnout from the Myanmar community. An activity like Family Day provides residents and their friends the opportunity to get to know each other and enjoy the community spirit that we are actively encouraging. Together with the sales and marketing team of PHGE, we plan many similar events throughout the year and our residents enjoy the activities a lot and many invite their relatives and friends to join in.”
