Arms Act charge against accused conspirator in Ko Ni Assassination Case dropped

Yangon Regional Court on June 18 dropped charges relating to possession of firearms against accused conspirator Aung Win Zaw in the assassination case of lawyer Ko Ni. 
Aung Win Zaw is a co-conspirator of gunman Kyi Lin who is alleged to have assassinated lawyer Ko Ni, a law adviser to the NLD, at Yangon International Airport.
Moreover, the court has decided to continue initial charges against Kyi Lin and another accused conspirator Aung Win Tun.
The charge against another suspect Zayar Phyo was changed from conspiracy to commit the crime (section 34) to assisting an offender (section 109).
