Businessmen donate 16.7 billion kyat for Rakhine State

A total of 22 leading Myanmar business people donated 16.7 billion kyat to the Union Enterprise for Humanitarian Assistance, Resettlement and Development (UEHRD) Fund in Rakhine State.
This donation ceremony was held at National Reconciliation and Peace Centre (NRPC) in Nay Pyi Taw on October 20 and it was attended by UEHRD Chairperson and State Counsellor Aung San Suu Kyi.
Out of the 22, Aung Ko Win from Kanbawza Company made the largest donation with 3 billion kyat, Maung Weik from MBCCD Saypai Company donated 1.5 billion kyat, Zaw Zaw from Max Group of Companies donated 1 billion kyat, Nay Aung from United Amara Bank donated 1 billion kyat, Khin Shwe from Zaykabar Company donated 1 billion kyat, Chit Khaing from Eden Group of Companies donated 1 billion kyat, Ko Ko Htwe from Tawwin Family Company donated 1 billion kyat, Tun Myint Naing from Asia World donated 1 billion kyat, Htay Myint from Yuzana Company donated 1 billion kyat, and Kyaw Win from Shwe Thanlwin Trading Company donated 1 billion kyats.
This fund was launched and introduced at Myanmar International Convention Centre – 2 on October 15 with a dinner and then these donations were made after five days.
