Fifth Media Development Forum enters second day

The second day Fifth Media Development Forum was held at the Chatrium Hotel yesterday morning, state media reported on 9 November.
Three topics were discussed at the forum, including access to information, the survival of independent media and encouraging voices from social media.
The forum ended with closing remarks by Head of Office Ms Min Jeong Kim of UNESCO, Deputy Director-General Dr Daw Thida Tin of the Information and Public Relations Department, Mission Director Ms Teresa McGhie of USAID, Director U Khine Myat Kyaw of the Burma News Agency and Associate Professor Daw Zinmar Kyaw of the National Management Degree College.
