Israel provides relief supplies to flood victims of Myanmar

A team from the Embassy of Israel in Myanmar, headed by the ambassador, H.E. Mr. Daniel Zonshine visited Tharyarwaddy District flood victims' camps last Friday a statement from the Embassy dated 10 August reported.
The Embassy handed over dry noodles, hygiene kits, impregnated bed nets, medicines and relief supplies to the flood victims on behalf of the State and people of Israel. Over 2,400 people were evacuated to 12 rescue camps in the township. The Ambassador visited 2 rescue camps, met with victims and donated goods to over 250 families there. The team also visited Tharyarwaddy District Hospital and donated medicines for the flood victims.
On behalf of the state of Israel, the ambassador expressed his sympathy to the people of Myanmar, and affirmed that Israel will continue helping the rehabilitation of flood victims of Myanmar.
