In a press briefing held at the Novotel Yangon Max on Tuesday afternoon, Myanmar's largest telecommunications operator announced that it has teamed up with the Myanmar National League to offer the country's die-hard football fans a way to access the “most up-to-date news, views, scores and in-depth match analyses from the country's top flight league.”
The brand-new MPT MNL App is part of a three-year partnership that includes various youth-level competitions and aims to “promote the long-term growth of the sport and encourage a healthy lifestyle amongst Myanmar's children and youth.” The partnership also has plans to expand featured content to other lower-tier competitions.
Exclusively for MPT SIM card users, prizes including official MNL merchandise and “other attractive items” will be awarded weekly to those able to correctly predict the winners for the upcoming round's six MNL-1 matchups.
