Residents in Nay Pyi Taw have staged a rally to show their solidarity with State Counsellor Daw Aung San Suu Kyi and to support her handling of the issue of northern Rakhine State, state media reported on 23 October.
Author U Htin Lin Oo and U Jimmy (Member of ’88 student leaders) delivered speeches followed by by music from Sein du War and Pan Ye Lan, the report said.
