Hunger Striker Aung Hmine San

The hunger strike at Tharrawaddy jail by students demanding the release of students and political prisoners will be suspended from 17 November.
Two of the main hunger strikers, Ko Aung Hmine San and Ko Myo Myat San, have been taken to Yangon hospital due to the serious condition of their health.
They have both agreed to temporarily stop the strike as did fellow hunger strikers Ko Aung Myint Han, Ko Thein, Ko Ye Htut Lwin and Ko Dain Daung who are also being held in Tharrawaddyjail.
The move came as prominent monks involved in the Saffron revolution and Aung San Suu Kyi and the NLD urged them to stop the hunger strike.
