Myanmar Crew held by Iran
The Maersk Tigris, 13 Myanmar crew have been held by Iranian authorities

Myanmar-based Uniteam Marine, a shipping management company, has confirmed 13 Myanmar crew members were being held by Iranian authorities.
The Marshall Islands’ flagged Maersk Tigris cargo ship was seized by Iran in the Straits of Hormuz on April 28 With 21 crew members on board. Iranianauthorities have said that it seized the ship over a case dating back years over debts arising from uncollected cargo. Iran said last week the vessel would only be released once the debt case was settled.
The 13 Myanmar crew members are all well and apparently have access to internet and phones, however it remains unclear when they will be released.
