A man accused of a bomb threat against government offices has been arrested, according to the New Light of Myanmar.

Yar Sin (a) Tin Myint, a 41-year old resident of Pabetan Township, phoned the downtown Rangoon Township Peace and Development Committee office and threatened that bombs would explode that night, October 24th, at the pro-junta Union Solidarity and Development Association branch office and at the police station.

The accused was arrested a few hours after the threat, said the government mouth-piece daily newspaper.
