More 88 Students face trial

A further thirteen members of the 88 Generation Students were today put on trial in Insein prison in Rangoon. This last batch of activists will again be produced in court tomorrow, prison authorities told family members of the detainees. Thus far, 23 of their colleagues and leaders of the 88 Generation Students movement have been sentenced to 65 years imprisonment in previous closed door trials. < Prev   Next >
