Chiang Mai (Mizzima) -Veteran journalist and former political prisoner, Win Tin yesterday delivered a lecture to youth members of Nobel Laureate Aung San Suu Kyi's National League for Democracy (NLD) in Rangoon, former capital of Burma.

Win Tin gave a lecture titled 'Youth and Future', at the NLD headquarters in Bahan Township in Rangoon to mark Burma's National Day on December 16.

"The lecture was aimed at elevating the spirit of the youth. All actively participated," a youth member of NLD said.

Win Tin also talked to Mizzima regarding the connection between youth and the future.

"The future of the world, the nation and the NLD is youth. It is impossible to separate youth and future.  Youth have to prepare for the future," Win Tin said.

Around 200 youth members of NLD from townships in Rangoon division participated.
