New Delhi (Mizzima) – Forest Minister Brigadier General Thein Aung sustained minor injuries in a car accident last week in Naypyitaw, sources said.
An official at the Forest Ministry said, Thein Aung along with his driver and another person were in the car, when it flipped over accidentally on March 13. But, fortunately, Thein Aung sustained a minor leg injury.
“The car flipped over thrice. But luckily he [Thein Aung] was not seriously injured,” the official said.
Following the accident, the Forest Minister on March 15, joined Prime Minister General Thein Sein on a visit to Singapore and Indonesia. The delegation arrived in Singapore on Tuesday after concluding a two-day visit to Indonesia.
