New Delhi (Mizzima) - The health of detained 'National League for Democracy' (NLD) leader Aung San Suu Kyi is fine, according to reports.
Currently, the opposition leader is under house arrest at her residence in University Avenue, Bahan Township, Rangoon, and met her family doctor, Dr. Tin Myo Win, on April 2.
"Yes, Daw Suu met her physician on April 2. Her health condition is fine, but the health of her companion, Daw Khin Win, who lives with her at her home, is not good," NLD spokesperson, Nyan Win, told Mizzima.
Khin Khin Win and her daughter have stayed with Aung San Suu Kyi and taken care of her since her last house arrest, after her convoy was attacked by a government-backed mob on May 30, 2003, at Depeyin in Central Burma.
