Dhaka (Mizzima) – As tension spirals between Bangladesh and Burma, sources said the Bangladesh Army on Thursday inspected the border to figure out setting up of a temporary artillery camp.

The Bangladesh military inspected the areas around Ukhia town in Cox’s Bazaar district of Chittagong, opposite Burma’s Maungdaw township of Arakan state, looking at possibilities of setting up the camp, sources said.

The area is about 10 kilometres from the Bangladesh-Burma border and is about 30 kilometres south of Cox’s Bazaar.
