New Delhi (Mizzima) - Twenty six Burmese demonstrators, including five women activists are to be produced on March 20 (tomorrow) in Partiala Court in New Delhi. An FIR has been filed against them by the Delhi police at the Chanakyapuri police station under sections 147, 149, 188 and 427 for unlawful assembly, disobeying  public officers and for damaging  property  in  the Burmese embassy compound. They are among 72 Burmese activists who smeared red paint on the wall of the embassy compound this morning protesting against the Burmese military junta this morning. The rest, 46 will be released later today, said Akshay Sharma, lawyer who visited them in the police station.

Shouting slogans against the junta, the protesters surrounded the embassy and painted the wall of the embassy in red with the words "Than Shwe Go to Hell. Elections No Need" before the Delhi police arrived and arrested them.
